The Annual Conference

Our 7th annual gathering brought together the most distinguished practitioners, academics, judges, regulators and experts who influence the day-to-day workings of the international financial markets. At this edition of the conference, we were welcomed by H.E. The Hon. Sir David Baragwanath KNZM, Chairman of P.R.I.M.E. Finance's Advisory bord. The conference was opened by Saskia Bruines, Deputy Mayor of The Hague.

Keynote Speakers

The Rt. Hon. Lord Briggs of Westbourne, Justice of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom and Philip Wood CBE, QC, Head of the Global Law Intelligence Unit and Special Global Counsel at Allen & Overy, joined us as key note speakers at the event. You can find their presentations here.

The 7th P.R.I.M.E. Finance Annual Conference welcomed a record number of attendees. With over 350 registrations, this has been our biggest conference yet. As is a tradition now, the event was held at the Peace Palace in The Hague. The conference is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into recent case law and related topical issues regarding complex financial products, and also offers a unique chance to personally discuss these developments with many of the members of our Panel of Experts who are present at the event.

Young ICCA/P.R.I.M.E. Finance: Skills Training Workshop

P.R.I.M.E. Finance and Young ICCA co-hosted a Skills Training Workshop on Tuesday 23 January 2018. The Workshop was divided into two sessions: "Finance for Arbitration Lawyers" and "Arbitration for Finance Lawyers" and was opened by Prof. Gabrielle Kaufmann-Kohler, who was the Guest Honour Speaker at the occasion. Over 50 Young ICCA members attended the event. This event took place within the broader P.R.I.M.E. Finance 7th Annual Conference. Young ICCA members that also attended the P.R.I.M.E. Finance Conference received a 50% discount on the registration fees for the two-days of the event.
