Lucien Wong appointed as Attorney-General of Singapore

Lucien Wong, Board Member of P.R.I.M.E. Finance, will take over as Attorney-General from 14 January, 2017.

Lucien Wong, Board Member and member of the Panel of Experts of P.R.I.M.E. Finance, has been appointed as Attorney-General of Singapore in a decision made public by the Prime Minister's Office in a statement on 25 November.

Mr. Wong will be appointed Deputy Attorney-General from 19 December, in order to help him in the transition into the top post at the Chambers of the Attorney-General.

Lucien Wong will serve a three-year term as Attorney-General and will succeed Mr. V.K. Rajah

When Mr. Wong takes over as Attorney-General on 14 January of next year, the current Solicitor-General, Lionel Yee, will be appointed Deputy Attorney-General. Mr. Yee will share that position at the Attorney-General's Chambers Mr. Tan Siong Thye.
